PeepSo Groups Addon

Transform your PeepSo community from a broad network into a thriving ecosystem of focused micro-communities with the PeepSo Groups Addon. This essential extension empowers your members to create, join, and manage their own dedicated spaces — turning casual visitors into deeply invested participants. Whether you’re running a membership site, an online course, a corporate intranet, or a niche social network, Groups give your users a place to truly belong.

Key Features & Functionality

• Flexible Group Creation & Categories — Let members create unlimited groups, neatly organized into custom categories so users can quickly find their tribe.
• Privacy Controls That Matter — Choose between Public (open to all), Private (visible but requires an invitation or request), and Hidden (completely invisible to non-members) groups. You decide the default and set permissions.
• Dedicated Group Activity Streams — Each group gets its own activity feed, keeping conversations focused, noise‑free, and highly relevant to its members.
• Seamless Member Management — Group creators can promote moderators, manage join requests, and remove members. Integrate with Notifications so no one misses an invite or an important discussion.
• Deep Integration with PeepSo Ecosystem — Works natively with Photos, Videos, Polls, and Questions. Combine with the Friends Addon to invite connections directly, or with Paid Memberships Pro to gate exclusive groups behind a paywall.

Real-World Use Cases Elevated by Groups

Imagine a coaching program where a hidden group becomes a private vault for assignments and client‑only Q&A. A product support community can spin up a dedicated group for beta testers, keeping feedback out of the public eye. Corporate intranets thrive with departmental or project‑specific groups that stop email overload. For membership sites, private groups act as exclusive lounges, increasing perceived value and retention.

Every group inherits your PeepSo design and mobile‑friendly interface, so the experience is both branded and intuitive. Activity within groups also surfaces in the main stream (if privacy allows), drawing attention and encouraging others to join.

Why Invest in the Groups Addon?

Communities that offer smaller, purpose‑driven spaces consistently see higher engagement, stronger loyalty, and lower churn. The PeepSo Groups Addon hands you the tool to effortlessly create that structure — without any code. It’s a proven way to segment discussions, foster deep relationships, and unlock new revenue streams through gated or premium groups. If you’re serious about building a lasting social platform on WordPress, Groups isn’t just an addon; it’s the backbone of true community.
