GiveWP Funds and Designations Addon

The GiveWP Funds and Designations Addon gives your nonprofit a simple way to organize donations by purpose. Instead of one large donation pool, you can create separate funds — such as building repairs, scholarships, or emergency relief — and let donors choose exactly where their gift goes. Every donation is then tracked against the right fund inside your WordPress dashboard.

This addon extends your GiveWP donation forms with flexible fund and designation options.

• Create multiple funds or designations for different causes and projects

• Attach each gift to the correct fund at checkout
• Review fund totals inside your donation reports and dashboard
• Give donors clear, transparent giving choices before they pay
• Lightweight setup — no coding or custom development needed

Benefits and Use Cases

Funds and designations bring clarity to your fundraising. Churches can separate tithes, missions, and building projects. Schools can track scholarship gifts apart from general donations. Charities can report accurately to boards and grantmakers because every donation carries a clear purpose.

Donors appreciate the transparency too. When people see exactly where their gift goes, they give with more confidence — and often more often.
